Anand Tharaney

Anand Tharaney is a film person, a researcher and has always dabbled in work with a fierce independent spirit. His work includes research and production on a number of International documentaries and cultural projects. In 2011, Anand directed his first short film, titled 'Prince', on the discontinuation of Mumbai Fiat Taxi. The film won best animation film at Mumbai International Film Festival, 2012. He has major production credits on John & Jane (2006, Ashim Ahluwalia / Future East) and Asian Vibes (2004, Vishal Rawlley / Film Republic), and have been chief researcher on the books, 'Art of Bollywood' (2009, Rajesh Devraj / Taschen) and 'Dieux et Robots', Les théâtres d'automates divins de Bombay (2008, Emmanuel Grimaud / L'Archange Minotaure, Paris).
